Programs and Fees

​​We accept children from 30 months to 5 years old. To enroll at 30 months, the child must be turning 3 that calendar year. Children may be enrolled at Countryside until June of the year they turn 5 years old.

The school is open from 9:00am - 12:55pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from the months of September through June.

For the 2026/2027 school year we are looking at increasing to being open 5 days a week.  Upon registering you will be asked how many (minimum 2 days) and what days would be your preference - we will endeavour to match the request. 

Licensing ratios require the final decision to be made in consultation with the ECE.

Monthly fees (2026/2027**):

2 days   $253.43 - 38.00* = $215.43

3 days   $380.14 - 57.00* = $323.14

4 days   $506.86 - 76.00* = $430.86

5 days   $633.57 - 95.00* = $538.57

* This is the reduction received from the Province of British Columbia - the childcare fee reduction initiative.  This is applied for every year - this year a savings of $19 per day was granted.

Our “parent participation” positions are the heart of the Countryside community. These positions offer additionally reduced fees for caregivers assisting in the running of the preschool.

Enrollment Fee:

​

$125 non-refundable registration fee due upon enrollment. This fee is only non-refundable once a space has been offered and accepted.

 

All members of Countryside Preschool encouraged to attend the annual general meeting in May.
